Sex education is important for all individuals including children! It is a fundamental pillar in stopping sexual violence as it permits communication in a safe space and building of enabling environments.

The children of P.C. Bastos Yaoundé, on August 2nd 2023, were well instructed on the subject of Body care and violence prevention and reporting.

Medinnovint facilitated the program to boys and girls aged 3 to 19 years.

It was an impactful workshop as the children asked many questions (some anonymously) and received elaborate answers. It was dually beneficial as not only the children benefitted but also, medical and paramedical students who were present, and initially briefed to facilitate the training.

Another very important part, was the break-out groups which permitted specific concerns to be addressed.
